It has been eagerly awaited for 100 years despite enormous goodwill and genuine efforts from people all over the world. To understanding why, we visit the past and present of a land and a people overrun by power. With Trump’s “Deal of the Century”, the Peace Train is further from the station than ever. Or is it? Join the conversation. Our guest speaker for this event will be Robert Massoud, a Palestinian Canadian. In 2004, Robert founded Zatoun, Fair Trade olive oil from Palestine. Registration is not required but pre-registering on Eventbrite will help us plan for seating. Donations will be accepted at the door. Hosted by: First Mennonite Church, First United Church, Kelowna Unitarians and St. Paul United. First United Church 721 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, V1Y 6P6 events@kelownanow.com
