Milkcraters of the Moon Reading Series Presents: Dania Tomlinson & Ashley Little
Milkcraters of the Moon Reading Series Presents: Dania Tomlinson & Ashley Little
This is the eighth reading in the Milkcraters of the Moon (MOM) Reading series. MOM is a collaboration between Kelowna non-profit arts organization, The Inspired Word Cafe, and the UBCO Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies. The goal of the series is to foster community and coalition building between our local and institutional art communities by pairing notable Canadian authors from out of town with writers from our own community, and to provide a short open mic for other creators to share their work.
Dania Tomlinson grew up in the Okanagan, and still lives there with her husband and young daughter. Her debut novel, Our Animal Hearts, is set in the Okanagan in the early 1900's and was published by Penguin Random House Canada in May 2018.
Ashley Little is the author of five novels, most recently, Confessions of a Teenage Leper. Her work has won the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize, the Sheila A. Egoff Children's Literature Prize, and twice been longlisted for the International Dublin Literary Award. Ashley lives in the Okanagan Valley.
