It's more than a fundraiser, and more than a bike ride. It's a movement for mental health. When you ride, it's for yourself and for the people all around you. Ride is a chance to connect with each other, and with the movement that's bringing mental health into the open. When you join The Payton & Dillon Budd Memorial Ride you are raising awareness and funding for essential mental health programs and services offered by CMHA Kelowna. These programs give people of every age a chance at good mental health. Isn't that something we all deserve? When we ride, we create change. About the Payton & Dillon Budd Memorial Ride: At CMHA Kelowna we want to let anyone struggling in silence to know they are not alone. That's why we are dedicated our Ride Don't Hide event to the memory of two brothers in our community. The Payton and Dillon Budd Memorial Ride is a rallying point for us all. Anyone can experience poor emotional or mental health. Anyone can be at risk of thoughts of suicide. No one should have to hide or stay silent. The Cause: Ride Don't Hide is a nation-wide fundraising bike ride that gives thousands of people across Canada the opportunity to connect - to their own mental health, to each other and to their broader communities, while raising the critical funds that support CMHA programs in their communities that help Canadian's take care of their mental health.
