Kelowna Sushi & Sake Festival
Join the Kelowna Kasugai Sister City Association in an afternoon full of Japanese entertainment, paired with Kelowna's best Sushi & Sake.
Over 10 restaurants in Kelowna are preparing their best Sushi to be paired with fine Japanese Sake and spirits.
•May 28th, 1-4pm
•Laurel Packinghouse. 1304 Ellis Street, Kelowna.
•19+ event
•Ticket includes entertainment and 10 tokens for Sushi &/or Sake.
•Extra tokens will be sold at event
Japanese entertainment throughout the event will include:
•Flute and Calligraphy (Japanese flute and dance)
•Japanese Taiko Drumming (Large Japanese style drums)
•Traditional dance and fashion show
•Shamisen & Percussion (3 string guitar and percussion drums)
•Traditional Japanese Taiko (drumming group)
•Speech from City of Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran
Did you know that Kelowna has a sister city twinning with Kasugai, Japan? Curious what the Kasugai Japanese Gardens in downtown Kelowna are all about? We are hoping to raise awareness about our sister city and it's Kelowna association with an afternoon of great entertainment paired with excellent food and beverages.
The space has a limited capacity and will sell out early, buy your tickets ahead of time!
