Winter Magic at West Kelowna’s Gellatly Nut Farm
The heritage hazelnut grove at Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park will be lit up to celebrate the winter season. You’re invited to join in the ‘Winter Magic’ event in the park located off Whitworth Road in West Kelowna. After dark on Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, the grove will be open for public viewing and enjoyment. As well, the whole family’s welcome to enjoy hot chocolate and refreshments under the warming tent. There will also be carolers, and a fire pit to warm up.
This event is free and you don’t have to register. There is limited parking available in the Nut Farm parking lot, so carpooling is definitely encouraged with friends, family and neighbours. Organizers ask that people attending please obey their on-site traffic control people, watch for them and pedestrians so that everyone is safe.
The nearby Cove Lakeside Resort is making overflow above and underground parking available for ‘Winter Magic’ participants.
