Earls launches new summer dishes and drinks

Kelowna's weather is changing on a daily basis during the spring season, but sooner than later the long, hot days of the Okanagan summer will be upon us.

In anticipation of patio season, Earls has launched wide range of "new + notable" dishes, cocktails, and wine.

"Today we launched the items on our featured summer menu," said Head Chef at Earls on Top in Kelowna, Adam Tweedy.

"It consists of a lot of delicious items, with Asian inspired and infused summer dishes, lots of tuna dishes, fresh vegetables, salmon and sushi."

Salmon + Sushi

A winning combo, the salmon + sushi includes a perfectly roasted salmon filet served on top of a bed of our crisp vegetable slaw and accompanied by guests’ favourite dynamite roll.

Steak + Sushi

Previously available at many locations, the steak + sushi will be available at the remaining locations. A marinated steak surrounded by citrus soy sauce and served with a crunchy dynamite roll, this combination will blow your mind.

West Coast Ahi Tuna Salad

A vibrant salad perfect for patio season. Beautifully crusted Ahi Tuna, seared to rare, sits on top of a bed of romaine along with cabbage, sunflower sprouts, cucumbers, radish coins, grape tomatoes, red and green onion, mango, and toasted almonds, lightly dressed with Soy-Ginger vinaigrette.

Ahi Tuna Tataki

A flavourful starter. Served ultra rare, the thinly sliced sesame crusted ahi tuna tataki is topped with serrano peppers and garlic rice crisps and lays on top of a bed of fresh julienned vegetables tossed with a spicy yuzu vinaigrette.

Drinks + Beverages

Earls is rolling out plenty of new drinks specially designed for the summer patio season as well.

"To begin, we now feature all day rosé service along with a variety of new mimosas, a couple new cocktails, new local wines and beers," said Head Chef Tweedy.

"The new wine list is inspired by Okanagan native David Stansfield, who is Earls new Sommelier and features a rosé from Naramata, a Burrowing Owl Merlot from Oliver, a Synchromesh riesling from Okanagan Falls and a Cab Merlot from West Kelowna."

Along with newly added wines, Earls has also created new cocktails and beverages.

Paper Plane

Made with bourbon, amaro, Aperol and fresh lime.

Spanish Gin & Tonic

This Spanish gin and tonic is a refreshing twist on a classic highball with craft gin, fentiman’s tonic water and cucumber bitters.

Earls on Top is located in downtown Kelowna on Bernard Avenue.
