What do you always find yourself saying?
“Oh my God, I love it!!”

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
Christina Aguilera, she’s beautiful, an amazing talent, and seems so sweet. I love her music… and nails!!

If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
World’s Best Esthetician

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Marilyn Munroe. She was beautiful and intriguing. There would be so much behind her beautiful smile to explore and understand.

Who inspires you?
My late mother inspires me. She was an amazing woman. She was incredibly loving and as a single mother she had such strength and courage.

What are three things on your bucket list?
1. To make a difference in someone’s life, someone that really needs that difference.
2. To travel around Europe.
3. To learn how to swim, I’m so scared of the water.

If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
I don’t like boats… I’m scared of the water.

What are you passionate about?
I absolutely love what I do right now. I especially love doing nails and eyelashes and making my clients feel wonderful.

What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
The day I opened my own salon - Devotion.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Becoming the owner of my own salon. It has been a dream for many years.

Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
There are so many good restaurants in Kelowna. My recent favourite is The Curious. It is trendy, fun, and the pizza is delicious.

What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
I really enjoy the events put on by the Okanagan Pride Society. I recently went to the Pride Unleashed Dance and had a great time with friends from Kelowna and from out of town.

What does your business/organization do?
Although we specialize in manicures and pedicures we also do all types of esthetic services including hair, eyelashes, eyebrow extensions, tinting, and waxing.

Our vision is our clients’ everlasting beauty.

Our mission is to ensure that our clients’ services are superior to all others. We continually strive for excellence in providing quality services in a classy, relaxing, and professional spa environment. We are devoted to our clients.

If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
Perfection. I’m a perfectionist. I want to be the best for my clients.

Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
Maybe more than just one location.

Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
I learned from some of the best salons in Vancouver and Seattle. I consider them on the forefront of esthetics.

How does your business/organization impact the community?
Our community is important to Devotion and I. We respect the fact that we are a part of the community and need to contribute to it in a positive way. We believe in serving our community with the highest standard of service and we believe in supporting our community in charitable ways when possible.

If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
The fashion and beauty industries. I’d want to know what’s next. I like to stay in the forefront for my clients.

If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
I wish that Kelowna was a bit more diverse.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The wineries are amazing. The weather is way better than Vancouver. The scenery and lake are beautiful.
