My mom.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
If there were an award for being the most passionate for their business that would be it.
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Rockefeller, his thing was you find it, I'll refine it, and you know his story. So we at Surf Culture and 207 men aren't reinventing the wheel just perfecting and giving it our spin.
Who inspires you?
Besides tequila? The fear of failure, when someone says it can't be done I make sure it does get done.
What are three things on your bucket list?
1. Make my family and friends happy, proud, and better off.
2. Travel to exotic islands around the world.
3. Retire comfortably with my wife.
4. See the NY Jets win a Super Bowl and Canucks win the Stanley cup and be at those events.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
“Corralejo!”
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
The day I sell the companies.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about family, friends, and helping create success in their lives. I am very passionate about the businesses we have created in our community that contribute to the uniqueness of the area we live in.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
The day I met my beautiful wife and life partner Lori.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
All business aside it would be raising our two daughters Carly and Katie, so proud of them and all their accomplishments.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
I have had so many favourite haunts in Kelowna over the years but right now I would say Social 242. The atmosphere is electric, the food is fabulous, and the staff are incredible.
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
I know this may sound funny but our morning walks in the summer, seeing all our friends along the way and all the sites, there is nothing like walking downtown Kelowna!
What is the name of your business/organization?
207 men formerly X10sion207 Clothing Company and Surf Culture Clothing Co. Both located on Bernard across from the Sails and City Park.
What does your business/organization do?
207 men pampers men, it's a new service orientated retail fashion experience. Premium lifestyle clothing and accessory brands are presented as you indulge in our barber experience with the best views on the street. Surf Culture Clothing is all in the name.

Recognition for accomplishments.
Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
Surf Culture should be up to five to seven locations by then.
Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
Honestly 207men is a new concept that maybe two or three are doing right now in Canada so we are the forerunner!
What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
Our concepts, are both on top of their games, we are forward thinking and always on the heartbeat of change.
When you walk in one of our doors whether here in Kelowna or one of our locations in Southern California, you know this is going to be an experience to remember, especially when you walk out with a bag full of looks from all your favourite brands. Celebrating 20 years in Kelowna!
What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I've always said take care of your staff and they will take care of your customers!
How does your business/organization impact the community?
I think we truly continue to show that there is a place for successful independent business in this world.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
Strictly finance so we could grow and share our experience with people around the world. I would tell them where we came from, our accomplishments in good and bad times, and where we are headed! They would definitely love to come along for the ride!
If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
Make it a year round destination for our number one industry, tourism! Have more weekly and year round events!
Keep the retailers on Bernard open later hours year round for tourists and locals alike!
