What is your name?
Kathleen Stang.

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
I'm from Kelowna originally. I left for school and work, but I came back in 2009.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My husband. He is so amiable and he balances me perfectly.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Madrid, we have an honour-debt there.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
I've hit every dollar store in town, my favourite one is just off Burch, I always need something little and I love a deal.

What is your favourite activity?
Card making, it is creative and distressing.

If you had to choose: pizza, tacos, or burgers?
A burger from Little Hobo, all the way.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
A bug flew down my top and I ended up showing my client my bra.

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
I get such wonderful testimonials from my clients, every month someone new touches my heart.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
We were five kids and my dad built us an A-frame playhouse. There were lots of kids bonding and shrill screams of happiness. We were very close as kids, now we are scattered to the winds, but Kelowna is home and they all want to end up here too.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I've helped at the Food Bank and I have also volunteered with Grief to Grace for six years. Everyone should volunteer in their community, it gives us gratitude for how good life really is for us, especially in this beautiful place.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I would get the schools to teach the children self esteem. Every single individual is perfect, they just need to see that through someone else's eyes. They only need to be encouraged.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Walking downtown and people watching.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Gyro park in the early morning.

Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
More people living close to downtown, we need to bring more people there. It should be a lot livelier, a lot later.

If you were granted one wish for work or in life, what would it be?
Could I pass on my wish? I already have all that I need.

I can sing.

We are relocation specialists.

What has been your biggest struggle either in work or life?
Setting down good roots, but that's over now that I am home.

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Same, It has been an interesting journey.

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Build your own community FIRST.

Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!
Maxine DeHart, the best example of giving back, a true local hero.
