Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
The GTA, two years.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
The homies back in Ontario are always a riot.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Momo Sushi... Great sushi, better prices.

Describe yourself in one word.
Real.



If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Cape Town, South Africa. Would be nice to see some family, surf and chow down on a Gatsby.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Playing sports, mainly soccer and baseball.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I was skateboarding down Bernard and bailed in front of a group of people and busted my laptop.

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Co-founding my business and having clients tell me how much they appreciate our work and how happy they are with us as business people. Every single happy client inspires me to want to do more.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Going to South Africa and running on the beach with penguins in Simon's Town. Back then it wasn't as touristy and you were free to do as you please.



Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I work with Community Futures and help local entrepreneurs at the grass roots level achieve success with their respective ventures.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I would try to figure out a way to ensure that we are able to identify the brilliant minds of the world that are living in under privileged areas. I feel like there is lost potential for human kind being lost over means to facilitate higher education.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Bean Scene downtown. Such a nice space.

Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
I hope something can be done about a high amount of petty theft. The amount of items stolen from hardworking people is despicable.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The setting and scenery.



What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. World Cup Final
2. Stanley Cup Final, hopefully with the Leafs winning!!
3. One day to be a dad

Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
I have planted over 400,00 trees all over Canada and used to be a Financial Crime Investigator.

Stand Out Sports Inc

Why did you get into/start this business?
We saw a problem and came up with a solution that we were able to monetize.



What is the goal of your business?
To last 100 years... 98.5 more to go!

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Sometimes my attention span can be described as short...

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Not a thing. Everything that happened made me who I am today.

What do you always find yourself saying?
Go with the flow.

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Trust but verify.

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Warren Buffet... he has all the money in the world yet still rocks the same house in Nebraska. His balance of success and humility is admirable.

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
It depends... I support local business, however I feel that a business should have to adapt to the conditions of their respective marketplace. Business is extremely competitive and if you aren't a competitor, you shouldn't be in business.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Starting Stand Out Sports in a place where I knew no one.
