Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kamloops?
I grew up in Clinton, BC and have lived in Kamloops for seven years.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
I can't just pick one! It be would be my partner Jack, my son Jaxon and my puppy Sadie. Because I love every moment I spend with them and truly feel like I can be myself.
What is your favourite local store in Kamloops and why?
Far and Wide. I am proud to sell my creations there and have created a relationship with the wonderful owners. They do a great job of supporting local makers. They also have a huge selection of plants, vintage wares, and other treasures.
Describe yourself in one word.
Caring.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Greece! It has been a lifelong dream of mine to go there.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
Skiing at Sun Peaks or doing any of our great local hikes.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
I treasure the annual family holidays to Vancouver Island. We camped every summer near the beach with my whole family. Its a tradition I am carrying on with my own family.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
My way of giving back is just random acts of kindness.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
No more suffering for anyone in this world.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
The hiking trails.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
I think the proposed arts centre would be a great addition to Kamloops.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
The sense of community.

Why did you get into/start this business?
Watching my mum who was an incredibly talented artist.
What is the goal of your business?
To create one of a kind inspired jewelry that makes the wearer feel joy.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
I am the biggest procrastinator but actually work very well under pressure.
What do you always find yourself saying?

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?

Becoming a mother.
