Meet Jennifer Morgan! Jennifer has lived in Kamloops for three years. She is a caring woman who loves crystals and animals!
Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kamloops?
All over....been in Kamloops for just over 3 years now.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
I love spending time with my sister as well as my nephew. My sister Heather is just a lot of fun to be around and her son is one of the best kids I know who just loves to create art as much as I do.
What is your favourite local store in Kamloops and why?
Kamloops has a lot of awesome store but I haven't found a favourite one yet.
Describe yourself in one word.
caring.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
I have a long list of places I want to go to that I still haven't been but I think I would want to go to Italy if I could pick anywhere right now. It is one of my favourite places in the world so far as they are so artistic there.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
Going to the farmer's market.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Nothing comes to mind.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Having one of my past customers come back to buy more because they loved my art so much. This has happened more and more lately and it just inspires me to continue to create not only for the love of my art but for the people who appreciate my art so much.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
I have so many great memories from my childhood all of them just spending time with my family. I was lucky enough to travel a lot while I was growing up so was able to see a lot of the world at a young age.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I am a foster for the SPCA.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
I really enjoy driving around and just seeing all the beautiful scenery around the Kamloops area.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
I would love to see the farmers market go year-round.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
The people here are great, everyone is very friendly and I just love living here.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
To see Greece to build my business up to have an animal rescue.

I am constantly creating new art.

Crystals pick you, you don't pick the crystal.
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Whatever you want to do with your life keep at it and push through the hard times as there is always a light at the end of the tunnel for those who push themselves.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Supporting the local shops helps them continue to make more of what they love and keeps the money locally.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Working and overcoming all the hardships I went through to be able to have the job of my dreams.
