In the wake of the white nationalist rally held Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia, many politicians, athletes and artists have responded to the violence and displays of racism.
Justin Trudeau, LeBron James, Lady Gaga and many other high profile voices used their Twitter profiles to speak out against the violent rally and spread messages of peace and respect.
“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, they can be taught to love. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love. For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite,” read the Nelson Mandela quote tweeted by former President Barack Obama.
With over 2.2 million likes, the quote follows Ariana Grande’s tweet about the Manchester bombing (first) and Ellen Degeneres' iconic Bradley Cooper Oscars selfie (second) as the most "liked" tweets in history.
Check out the several other responses from high profile leaders, artists and athletes:

We have nazi sympathizers and white nationalists in the White House. Condemn them too. They should not be receiving taxpayer money.
