BC Cancer Survivor Donates $1.4-Million Home to Research

A cancer survivor who was so blown away by the care he received is donating his million dollar home to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.

Robert Conconi was diagnosed with throat cancer and when hearing the news thought back to 30 years ago when his father died of the same type of cancer.

Today, Robert is cancer free and thankful for the care he received and the research that is taking place at the BC Cancer Agency. He and his wife Diane wanted to give back and have put their home, Madrona Grove, up for auction.

The waterfront luxury home was built on a 4.38 acre lot on Pender Island in 2012. It has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and comes with a wrap-around sundeck.

It will be up for auction on August 22nd with 100 per cent of the proceeds going towards the BC Cancer Foundation to fund cancer research.

Can’t wait that long? You can buy it now for $1.425 million.
