Kelowna-Lake Country Electoral Map
The British Columbia Electoral Boundaries Commission is looking for input from residents as changes are mulled over for the provincial electoral districts.
Beginning on Monday, September 22nd the commission will hold public hearings in 29 communities around the province. The commission will hear views and receive presentations and submissions at these meetings.
“Now is the time to have your say and shape your province,” states Commission Chair Justice Tom Melnick. “This democratic process is a unique opportunity for British Columbians to provide their views about how their communities are represented geographically in the Legislative Assembly.”

The Kelowna hearing will take place on Thursday, October 9th at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Prestige Inn. Views, submissions and presentations may also be made through an online submission form on the commission website (www.bc-ebc.ca), by email to info@bc-ebc.ca or by mail to PO Box 9275 Stn Prov Govt, Victoria, BC, V8W 9J6. All submissions must be received by the commission by Sunday, November 16, 2014.
