Change

You know how ‘they’ say the only constant is change?

Well, ya it’s the truth.

Sometimes the truth is hard.

AND.

What if we started making friends with change?

What is we found comfort in big scary changes because we knew that was the feeling of being ALIVE?

What if we kept looking for change in all of the ways in which they help us grow into the people we want to be?

It’s just that - Change actually just thrusts you into who you are becoming. Each decision you make, each choice you choose, points your moral compass in a direction that no one else can feel. When you step into making those decisions from a place that is choosing change you automatically shift the perspective around it.

When you step into change, no matter how uncomfortable or challenging it is in the moment, it’s always worth it. It always gives you something. Either that choice gives you a lesson or a celebration. You see the lesson + the celebration for exactly what it is knowing you choice change.

Amidst that, you see yourself differently. It’s almost like you see yourself with the clearest eyes possible. And don’t you want that?

Choosing change isn’t wired into most of us. Diving face first into the unknown isn’t really the #1 fan favourite — what we automatically choose is most often comfort and what we’ve come to know.

Our brains are there to keep us safe, to process info and to compartmentalize experiences (among other brilliant things) but really if we actively choose discomfort, if we choose the hard thing, if we choose change we can train the mind to get on board with the heart’s choice.

Connecting your heart to your actions is one of the single most important feelings that you will cultivate in your life. Keep leaning in. You are worth the WORLD!

Happy Canada Day!

xx,

roz
