Listen up, coffee lovers- this place is for you!

Ritual Coffee Bar has hit the streets of Prince George with their big debut just last month.

Located on the corner of George St. and 3rd Ave, this new hot-spot is introducing the city to 3rd wave coffee.

This trend features single-origin roasts, fostering a love and respect for the humble beginnings of a bean.

The shop is also highlighting their love of the environment through green initiatives such as pollution-free electricity.

“Our commitment to you is environmental responsibility, quality and ethically sourced coffee from small craft roasters, passion for what we do, supporting local suppliers, and above all, friendly & knowledgeable customer service, and community," wrote Ritual Coffee in a Facebook post.

Ritual Coffee Bar whips up a slew of amazing, freshly-baked goodies, savoury soups, sandwiches and not to mention drool-worthy breakfast!

Trench Brewing

Trench Brewing and Distilling literally just opened their doors earlier this week.

Locals have been flocking to the social hub in droves, and for good reason!

Trench is mastering the suds scene, with micro-brew spirits like gin and vodka to be making an appearance later this summer.

They are still in their soft opening phase, and even with the temporary menu, patrons have been raving about the experience.

Check them out at 399 2nd Ave on the corner of London St. in the industrial section of downtown.

Hours are still being sorted- we recommend checking their Facebook page or calling (250)617-9687 before venturing out.

Browns Social House

While Prince George residents love supporting small business above all else, there is a fair bit of hype over Browns Social House.

Currently under construction beside the liquor store at Pine Centre Mall, this popular chain restaurant is expected to come to completion in the upcoming weeks.

Browns Social House is known for their flavourful appetizers, impressive entrees and fun cocktails.

It’s a bit akin to the vibe of Earls and The Keg, with its own contemporary flair.

Check Pine Centre Mall’s social media for updates on completion.
