The PrinceGeorgeNow team caught up with Shhhh owner Shannon Horrigan and learned a thing or two about the store.

The original 2007 location was up at the Hart Centre Mall for a mere six months. Business was going so well that Shannon was able to relocate to a larger space, leasing the current spot on Westwood Dr.

We asked Shannon what inspired her to run her own business, to which she replied, “I turned my addiction into a business.”

The self-proclaimed shopaholic has always been obsessed with funky, statement jewellery.

It didn’t take long for a huge inventory of purses and sparkly everything to overtake Shannon’s home. Alas- Shhhh Home & Gift was born.

And for all of you animal lovers out there, we couldn’t resist featuring the store’s adorable mascot Hank!

Hank celebrated his first birthday back in September of last year, complete with cake smash and all!

It doesn’t get any cuter than that!

Sadly, Hank doesn’t make regular appearances at Shhhh anymore, he’s just gotten too big!

A few pucks of random socks while organizing them. We also have our top sellers like bring me wine, bring me beer, I give zero f*cks etc. We also have socks for mom for Mother’s Day!
