Kelowna gives a shout out to dads

Dad’s, Step-dad’s, Grandpa’s and Father-figures alike, today is the day we honour you!

While out at the Boyd Autobody Car Show, KelownaNow decided to find out how some of the attendees feel about their dads and how they are celebrating them today.

I met this guy when I was 15. He was a handsome guy who knew how to relate well to tiny children and the elderly. I knew then that he would be an amazing father, so I planned to marry him! 18 years later I can tell you he is a better father than I could have imagined. He is the perfect balancing act to our parenting. Fun, patient, kind, and knows how to lead his children to Christ in their most anxious moments and most poorly behaved moments. @joshbarnettphotography , you are a wonderful example of Christ's love to us, and I am honoured to be the mother of your children.
