Music lovers rejoice!
Coldsnap is coming and you’re going to love it! Every year in the dead of winter, musicians from all across the country collaborate their eclectic Canadiana style to form the must-see music event of the year: Coldsnap! Shake off the winter blues and vibe out to some gnarly, soul-filled blues instead.
From Jan. 26 to Feb. 3, 2018, Unworldly performers will be gracing the stages of the Ramada Ballroom, the Prince George Playhouse, the Legion, and St. Andrew’s United Church. Get your groove on to celtic, blues, grass-roots, jazz, indie-rock and folk music. And for that northern-flair, our beloved local bands will be showcasing their stellar skills alongside our special, out-of-town guests.
With free daytime community performances happening throughout the week, in addition to a specially priced children’s event on Saturday the 27th, Coldsnap is reputed to be the most anticipated cultural and musical event in Northern BC.
2018 is hyped to be the best year yet, and it’s no wonder with a line-up this insane! And we truly mean it. Dazzle your eardrums with the likes of Derina Harvey Band, Run Ragged, Digging Roots, Scenic Route to Alaska, The Eisenhauers, Danny Bell Trio, Far From Linear, Ten Strings and a Goatskin, Mélisande, plus so much more.
