There’s no time for boredom this holiday Monday as plenty will be happening in Kelowna to celebrate Family Day.
The Capital News Centre and Parkinson Recreation Centre will be open for swimming, skating, curling and of course the Park & Play.
Big White Ski Resort will have a full day of fun activities including a Carnival with games, cotton candy and a bouncy castle.
Be sure to have your BC Family Day Passport stamped by various exhibitors to be entered to win prizes. Visit Kelowna.ca/recreation for more details.
And the ultimate Family Day Challenges will be held at the Kelowna Elks Lodge.
The two hour interactive experience works to improve family relationships through unique and exciting challenge.
“We’re excited that our event will help stronger relationships in our families, our communities and the world,” says Jeff Hoffart of ED-ucation Publishing and Jessica Lahrs of Story is Yours. “We also care about giving back and all profits from the event will go to The Bridge Youth and Family Services and help support youth and families in our community.”
A Family ticket to the event costs $25 but participants leave with over $50 worth of goodies. Those interested are encouraged to register online in advance. The Kelowna Elks Lodge is located at 2040 Springfield Road.
