Evening Structure Fire in Kelowna

There’s no cause yet as to what sparked a house fire along Old Vernon Road in Kelowna Wednesday night.

The Ellison Fire Department was first on the scene around 9:20 pm and reported smoke coming from the basement of the home. Luckily, the single occupant was able to make it outside and Kelowna firefighters were able to assist and take over command.
