(UPDATE: 1:50 p.m.) - A CBC reporter who was licked by a man while doing a live report on T.V. has made a complaint to police about the incident.
Chris Glover said the incident, which occurred at a comedy club in Toronto, left him feeling deeply disturbed.
This is so disturbing and I get more uncomfortable every time I watch this creepy guy assault @chrisgloverCBC on live television. Why do people think it’s OK to #harass & #assault reporters while they do their job?! It’s gotta stop! @chrisgloverCBC @CBCToronto #Toronto #reporter pic.twitter.com/rSeTStQI5L

The reporter said he wants to try and ensure such incidents don't keep happening.
In a strange twist, the man has been identified as comic actor Boyd Banks, who had a role on the CBC series Little Mosque on the Prairie.
Despite having done work for the same network, Glover said he did not know Banks.
"I took the step to go to police because I hope that this person can take responsibility for what has happened," Glover said.
The 54-year-old actor has not commented on the incident.
With files from the Canadian Press.
(Original story: 9 a.m.) - It seems to happen far too often.
Another reporter has been sexually harassed on the job, this time in the middle of a live segment for CBC News.
Reporter Chris Glover is doing a report in Toronto, which begins as a man in a Saskatchewan Roughriders hoodie stands awkwardly behind him.
It appears as though the man may just be standing in the shot for a laugh, which is annoying but harmless, but he starts to cross a line a few seconds into Glover’s live cut in.
He begins to kiss and lick Glover’s ear, making for an awkward and inappropriate 30 seconds before Glover throws back to the studio.

No one does anything to remove the man from the shot or assist Glover, who handled the situation in a very professional matter given the circumstances.
The video was shared to Twitter by Jeffrey Vallis and there’s no shortage of people upset over what transpired on live T.V.
“This is beyond gross and disturbing,” tweeted fellow CBC reporter Farra Merali, while Twitter user Lee Ellis added, “that was absolutely disgusting.”
Exactly. You put it perfectly Brady. (And I feel for you, Chris, also- I can relate to this, and I admire your professionalism) Fact: you are such a PRO! @chrisgloverCBC 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💐

While the man was lambasted for his actions, Glover was praised for how he handled the incident.

The man harassing Glover in the video has not yet been identified.
