Residents are always encouraged to practice defensive driving as it could be what saves your life while travelling on busy highways.
The same couldn't be said about one truck driver who was travelling on Hwy 16 this week. Sean Gartside was driving his vehicle when he noticed a semi-truck attempting to pass him in the oncoming traffic lane.
During the dangerous pass, the truck is seen speeding over a bridge and forcing an oncoming vehicle into the shoulder of the road.
Gartside was noticeably unhappy with the incident, calling it "reckless." He noted that this behaviour out of drivers needs to stop.
The video was posted twice to a community Facebook group where it was shared over 1,000 times.
Gartside went on to say that he reported the incident but hasn't heard anything back to this point.
