RCMP in Nova Scotia made an unusual discovery when they found a transport truck filled with a large quantity of drugs.
Officers in Brooklyn, N.S. seized a large quantity of drugs from an 18-wheeler on October 1st during a traffic stop. The Windsor District RCMP stopped the truck on Highway 14 and a search resulted in police finding 609.5 pounds of marijuana, 19,800 tablets of LSD, 3.9 pounds of magic mushrooms, 47 meth pills, and a small quantity of cocaine.
The driver, David Joseph MacDonald, aged 39, of Fraser Mills has been charged with four counts of trafficking and one count of possession. The RCMP has released photos of the massive bust. The investigation is ongoing.
