2 Canadian train trips ranked amongst the best in the world

Add these experiences to your Canadian bucket list!

Two Canadian train trips have been ranked amongst the best in the world.

Conde Nast recently revealed their top 15 train trips —and highlighted in the list was the Royal Canadian Pacific and the Rocky Mountaineer.

Train travel allows you to “experience a landscape in a way that you can't’ experience any other way.”

The Royal Canadian Pacific came in at number 14 in the list, for its luxurious passenger cars that have welcomed US presidents, foreign diplomats and royalty—including Queen Elizabeth II.

Passengers are taken on an epic journey through mountains and prairies, while indulging in fine dining along the way.

The Rocky Mountaineer is such a unique experience that it earned the number two spot in the lineup.

With its glass, dome ceilings you really get to see the full landscape as you make your way across BC and over to stunning locations such as Banff or Jasper.

Staff help to bring the scenery to life with “friendly service and animated storytelling.”

According to Conde Nast, this train has transported more than two million guests since 1990, making it the largest privately-owned premium tourist train in the world.
