Health Canada has issued a recall for yet another hand sanitizer brand after its contents were found to contain ingredients that “may pose health risks.”
Both technical-grade ethanol and ethanol denaturants are not compliant with federal regulations and were found in the recalled sanitizer.
As a result, Canadians are now being advised to stop using the following sanitizer:
In July, Health Canada issued a similar recall that identified several brands of hand sanitizer to contain technical-grade ethanol.

Products can also be returned to a local pharmacy for proper disposal.
Anyone who has used these products and has health concerns should consult a health care professional, and report any health product adverse events or complaints to Health Canada.
