The power adapter has been found liable to overheat, melt or ignite.

There has been one report of a fire being caused by the adapter in Canada (as of Jan. 20).

About 25,000 of the affected units were sold in Canada.

Health Canada advises people with the adapters to immediately stop using them and contact Epson America to obtain a replacement product.
