PETA releases list of animal friendly idioms to avoid 'speciesism'

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) took to Twitter today to release a list of updated idioms to remove speciesism from daily conversations.

The organization turned phrases like "kill two birds with one stone," to "feed two birds with one scone," to evolve common language as social justice itself evolves.

Peta explained that just like using racist or homophobic words, using dialogue that trivializes cruelty to animals can be just as harmful.
