Pacifier recalled over fears it could pose choking hazard

A pacifier has been recalled after it was discovered to be a potential risk to children, Health Canada has announced.

The Duoladuobu Anti-Dust Silicone Pacifier’s nipple can detach from the base, which poses a choking hazard.

Health Canada has told consumers to immediately stop using the pacifier and contact the distributor – Thinka – in Burnaby so they can be refunded.

The product, which was sold between November 2018 and June 2019, is made in China.

As of June 17, there have been no reports of injuries in Canada.

Thinka can be reached at 604-298-2231 between 8:30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
