A new list of cities that have seen the most bed bug activity has been released by one of Canada’s largest pest control companies.
Orkin Canada has released a list of the top 25 most bedbug infested cities in Canada.
Cities are ranked by the number of bed bug treatments the company has performed from July 1st, 2016, through June 30th, 2017, and includes both residential and commercial treatments.
The cities that ranked in the top 10 are as follows:
Orkin Canada advises that bed bugs are “extremely efficient hitchhikers,” and recommend a few tips to avoid picking any up including keeping luggage on metal racks provided in hotels, and packing clothing and other personal items in plastic bags when travelling.
