Infamous affair arranging site Ashley Madison has revealed which Canadian cities solicit the site’s services most.
However, the list of “Top Canadian Cities for Infidelity” may surprise some readers.
The list was created using data from the previous year and is based on the number of signups between June 21, 2018, and September 22, 2018, per 1,000 people.
"Guelph, a city known for its agriculture and university, takes home the top spot in all of Canada. Speaking of Ontario universities, university towns are all over this list from Kitchener-Waterloo to Kingston, with the notable exception of London," said a company press release.
Another university town to make the list is Kelowna, B.C., home of UBC Okanagan, which ranked 12th.
“While most would assume that bigger cities probably produce more cheaters per capita, this data shows us what we were already aware of; cheaters are everywhere.”
