Hamilton Police said that they responded to the call and the patient was airlifted to hospital. They added that the Ministry of Labour has been contacted.

The employee reportedly sustained non-life threatening injuries, and the elephant involved in the attack “remains with the herd.”

The park says that a full investigation into the incident is ongoing.
