The 2018 Tommie Awards have officially come and gone, and the Gold Award winners have been announced.
These awards, given out by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA), recognize the incredible works of some of the best home builders in the Central Okanagan.
"The Tommie Awards celebrate the achievements of our building industry’s finest, the ‘Best of the Best’ for the past year showcasing their vision, talent and commitment, setting the standard of excellence for our industry,” said Kevin Santos, CHBA board member and chairman of the 2018 Tommie Awards.
Home builders from all across the Central Okanagan submit their best designs and greatest accomplishments of the year in hopes of taking home one of the prestigious awards. Trophies are awarded in a wide variety of categories, from Excellence in Kitchen Design to Best Environmental Initiative in Construction.
Some of the most coveted are the Grand Tommies, awarded to the Residential Renovation of the Year, Single Family Home Builder of the Year, and Home of the Year.
The silver finalists were announced on November 30th at the Laurel Packinghouse, and the gold winners were announced at last night’s gold gala event at the Delta Grand.
KelownaNow would like to congratulate all of the winners and finalists for this year’s Tommie Awards. Your amazing homes are part of what makes this city great!
