Exploring the Future of AI with Cale and Rob

It’s been a while since Cale and Rob last caught up on Live with Cale and Rob, and in their latest episode, they jumped straight into the exciting world of artificial intelligence (AI) and its rapidly growing influence on businesses. While it may seem like things have slowed down, the truth is AI is continuing to make waves, and companies of all sizes are figuring out how to make it work for them.

Cale kicked things off with some wild stats. According to the US Business Bureau, 98% of small businesses are now using AI in one form or another. What’s even more surprising? About 40% of those businesses are using AI specifically for content creation, and Cale pointed out that tools like ChatGPT are likely a big part of that shift. AI isn’t just for big corporations anymore; it’s becoming a go-to tool for small businesses, too.

Rob added a couple of interesting examples from the corporate world. JP Morgan is using AI to assist over 200,000 employees, helping them draft emails and summarize documents, while Australian company Tal Insurance is saving its employees one workday per week thanks to automation. These stats highlight how companies across industries are using AI to save time and streamline tasks.

A big topic of conversation was the shift from AI as a buzzword to something businesses are actually implementing. For example, Coca-Cola’s latest holiday ad is a completely AI-generated video, something that’s never been done before. While some critics argue that it feels a little less “authentic,” Cale made a good point—would people even know it was AI-generated if Coca-Cola hadn’t told them? Plus, the cost savings are massive. Instead of spending millions to produce a traditional commercial, AI allows companies to create high-quality content at a fraction of the cost, opening up possibilities for smaller businesses to compete on a bigger stage.

The conversation also delved into the future of AI in robotics. Elon Musk’s Tesla has been leading the charge with its Optimus robot, and now other companies like Figure 2 are following suit. Imagine having a robot that could help with things like groceries or even assist people with disabilities. While the idea of a robot in your home might sound futuristic, Cale and Rob see the potential for robots to truly improve quality of life, particularly for those who need extra support. The best part? These robots are only going to get more advanced, and they could even start to make a real difference in how we live.

Towards the end of the episode, the guys also discussed AI sales agents. Rob shared his experiences with a tool called Super Benji, which helps businesses automate the lead generation process. It’s still early days, but Cale’s already seen positive results, landing a few meetings through the tool. They both agreed that AI can save time and reach more people, but it’s important to make sure it’s being used ethically and in a personalized way—there’s no room for “salesy” messages that don’t feel authentic.

To wrap things up, Cale and Rob reminded listeners that while AI has huge potential, it’s about using the tools responsibly and staying true to the human side of business. From creating content to building relationships, AI is changing the way we work—and it’s only just getting started.
