Keeping yourself entertained while you’re out and about or on the go can be tricky. Resultantly, many people choose to listen to the radio during car journeys or throughout their day due to the convenience.
In the summer of 2022, KelownaNow Streaming was launched. From Monday to Sunday, listeners receive local updates about Kelowna and get to enjoy an array of interesting podcasts. Plus, it’s the perfect way to tune in to upbeat, on-trend music featuring artists such as Adele, Noah Cyrus, the Lumineers, and the Tragically Hip.
And even better, this online streaming station is available 24 hours a day and has minimal commercials.
One of the regular podcasts is Business Matters, which is hosted by Rob Cupello, the chief marketing officer of NowMedia Group. During these podcasts, guests are invited to discuss their business or their role within a business, giving insights and advice based on their experience.
Rick and Friends, hosted by Rick Maddison, is another podcast aired throughout the day on KelownaNow Streaming. Guests from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds within the community join Maddison to share their stories or views on a range of topics. They dive into some controversial topics, which at times, sparks debate.
Every Friday at 6 am and 6 pm, you can tune in to the 6 AM Mindset podcast hosted by Jeremy West. He interviews some of the world's highest performers and discusses their journey to success.
