Are your empty bottles and cans and milk containers piling up at home? Why not donate them to a good cause?!
Pathways Abilities Society and Columbia Bottle Depot have been supporting our community as partners for over a decade.
Simply drop off your unsorted empty refundable containers at the designated Pathways Sorting Depot section at any Columbia Bottle Depot!
Many individuals are employed at the Kent Road Columbia Bottle Depot in the Pathways Sorting Depot/Donation Station, and all donations directly pay their wages, as well as other Pathways initiatives.
By donating your product to the Pathways Donation Station, you are directly supporting individuals with diverse abilities and uplifting them as equal members of our community.
This employment service allows our community members to increase their independence in the workforce, and with the latest bottle sorting technology at the recycling establishment, it’s more important than ever to donate your empties to the Pathways Donation Station, which is open seven days weekly, 8 am to 5 pm.
Pathways Abilities Society has been providing services to individuals with diverse abilities in the Central Okanagan for 69 years, and as a non-profit registered charity, they rely on support from the community to continue their positive impact.
Whether you only have a small bag of empties or a trunk full to donate, every bottle, milk container and can makes a difference.
Among the many services Pathways provides is the Integrated Career Opportunities service, which connects individuals with diverse abilities to local progressive businesses to create customized employment.
Make a difference in our community by donating today!
