Debris from the missing Malaysia airline flight MH 370 may have washed ashore off the coast of Madagascar.

The plane debris is being checked by officials according to local media reports after it was found on Reunion Island Wednesday morning. According to air safety specialist Xavier Tytelman, the debris washed up on a beach and he suspects the wings are those from the missing flight.

The flight disappeared on March 8th, 2014 with 239 people on board. No wreckage of the flight has ever been located. Nothing has been confirmed by officials as the story is still developing. KelownaNow will have updates as soon as they become available.
