Guns N’ Roses have announced a 2017 world tour and they’ll be coming back to B.C. for just the second time since the infamous 2002 riot.
The band announced dates for their Not In This Lifetime World Tour on Monday morning with a North American leg that starts in St. Louis on July 27th. This is the band’s first time back in St. Louis since the Riverport Riot got the band banned from the city in 1991.

That’s not the only notable Guns N’ Roses riot, however, as there was also one in Vancouver after Axl Rose no-showed a November 2002 show at GM Place. It took almost a decade for the band to come back to B.C., which they did in 2011, and the upcoming 2017 world tour will be just their second show in Vancouver since those 2002 riots.
This time around, the show will be at BC Place on Friday, September 1st with tickets going on sale on Saturday, December 10th at 10 a.m. Pre-sale tickets are already available for purchase.
If you can’t make that date, the band will be in Edmonton on Wednesday, August 30th and Seattle on Sunday, September 3rd, which is part of the Labour Day long weekend.
