The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had their third child this morning, a healthy 8 lbs 7 oz baby boy.
The child is their second son, who was welcomed into the world at 11:01 a.m. UK time.
“The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news,” says Kensington Palace.
The couple emerged from the St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London this morning and the world caught a first glimpse of the newest addition to the royal family.
