Kelowna’s Visland Media has announced another television series production set to be filmed in the Kelowna area, featuring local realtors.
The company has teamed up with Cedarwood Productions and will film Seller’s Market, a series that will follow local realtors Darryl Reuter, Luke Menkes, Dean Desrosiers, Marika Wolf, and Amanda Westrheim as they vie, scheme, and outwit each other for the right to sell listings.
“Realtors are extremely competitive,” said Reuter, realtor and co-creator. “Furthermore, the market in Kelowna right now is short on inventory, which makes the stakes even higher.”
Filming of the series begins in September and it is anticipated to air across Canada during the fall of 2017. Last month, Visland Media announced it would be once again filming the television series Realty Reality for its third season. Also in partnership with Victoria-based Cedarwood Productions.
CEO of Visland Media, Alex Miller, agrees. “Our realtors are very competitive and have a lot of personality. The combination of high stakes, with livelihoods on the line, plus interesting characters produces great drama and engaging entertainment. Getting involved with this show was an easy choice.”
Visland Media is a Kelowna based television development and distribution company. It is currently producing a 13-part international travel series called Buskers. Locals interested in participating in Seller’s Market can contact Visland Media for more information.
