First Stranger Things, now Riverdale, it’s been a good couple of days for trailers from our friends at Netflix.
The first trailer for season two of Riverdale was released on Monday and it promises another season of thrilling action.
If for some reason you haven’t finished season one of the show and want to avoid spoilers, don’t read beyond this point!

The trailer opens with the moments shortly after Fred Andrews is shot, which are the final moments of season one.
Most of the trailer focuses on the follow up to that event, which looks to be the central theme and story line for season two, but the end of the trailer reveals another interesting teaser.
It’s Cheryl Blossom, standing over her mom Penelope, who is in a hospital bed and wrapped in bandages.
Cheryl, who started the fire that caused her mom’s injuries, says “things are going to be different now, Mommy. Better.”
With the first season centering around the murder of Jason Blossom and the eventual death of his father and killer, Clifford, it’ll be interesting to see where the Blossom story line goes.
Season two will premiere on October 12th and, like season one, a new episode will come out on a weekly basis.
