The Okanagan's own Penticton, BC is lucky enough to be hosting one of the longest running, and largest, beer festivals in the Pacific Northwest, the Okanagan Fest of Ale!
This festival acts as a non-profit society which works towards the promotion and support of local, craft breweries, as well as other charitable organizations spread throughout the Regional District of the Okanagan-Similkameen. Enjoy some amazing food while listening to live musical talents in a unique space which offers an indoor and outdoor setting. Not to mention, choosing which beer you are going to sample from 60+ craft breweries from BC and beyond.
Now, let's get to the matter at hand here: Beer, specifically, craft beer. Craft beer starts out like any other, with the simple ingredients of malted barley, hops, yeast and water.
