More lifts are opening at Big White to help skiers celebrate Friday.
The Black Forest Express and Plaza Chair will be operational from 8:45 am to 3:30 pm today.
Three other lifts will be open, alongside 24 runs.
The Happy Valley skating rink – Canada’s highest – is also open today.
There has been no new snow in the last 24 hours, but the base remains at 57 cms.
Wind is still calm on the hill, but visibility is now variable and the sky obscure.
On Saturday, the TELUS Park opens at the resort.
Tickets are still available for Friday night’s 12th annual Big Reds event.
