Big White will soon be home to an amazing and interesting new dining experience.
Charley Victoria's All Day Après is set to open on Dec. 4 and will be taking over where the Blarney Stone Irish Tavern used to be. The restaurant is set to introduce a relaxed environment with a "vintage ski cabin feel."
Featured at Charley's will be luxury street food crafted by head chef Jilly Leatherland. The full menu is set to be released to the public on Monday via the restaurant's website and social media channels.
Those visiting the restaurant will also notice a "world-class" cocktail menu created by mixologist Curtis Kelly. Many drinks on the menu include ingredients from the Okanagan.
“We have made it a priority to partner with as many local businesses as we can," said owner Justin Reid. "We are very excited to be collaborating with Okanagan Lifestyle Apparel for all the staff's clothing and if you are local to the Okanagan, you will recognize our beer and wine list featuring exclusively local wineries and breweries.”
Reid says he hopes Charley's will bring something new to the mountain that everyone can enjoy.
“The goal in creating Charley’s was to create a space that compliments the other businesses here at Big White by offering something new and different for all mountain goers near and far. We are striving to create a warm, vibrant and friendly atmosphere that is built for all ages, I have a great team that is bringing the vision to life”
The restaurant will be able to seat 120 while keeping provincial health orders in place. It is currently in its final stages of construction.
More information on the new spot will be released closer to the opening.
