Peaks at Big White receive their first skiff of snow for the season

The mountain tops of Big White received a light dusting of snow today, getting everyone good and excited for winter.

Any skiers and snowboarders eager to enough to already be checking the mountain's webcams could see snowfall at the top of the Bullet and Gem chairs.

Even if there’s an early start to the season, that day is still around two months away.

Opening day for both resorts is currently scheduled for November 26th.

The resort will function a bit differently this year due to COVID-19 which has forced officials to suspend skating, tubing and night skiing.

However, there's still plenty of fun to be had at the mountain this year and you can learn about Big White's pandemic policies by clicking here.

Those thinking of joining in on the fun will want to get in on the early bird season pass deal that runs until Oct. 13.
