Scientists, doctors and survivors are coming to Kelowna in June to discuss brain injuries.
Delivered in the style of a TEDx conference, BrainTrust Canada’s yearly symposium will be held on June 6 at the Ramada Hotel.
Among the topics addressed will be concussion, mental health, workplace injuries, the effects of cannabis and addiction.
Keynote speaker Martin Parnell will also discuss being diagnosed with a rare blood clot on his brain that left him unable to walk.
Audience members will also hear from a client of the BrainTrust who was injured after crashing his quad.
