1. Trudeau shuffles cabinet to reduce trade dependence on U.S.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a shuffle within his cabinet on Wednesday. He created new positions like the Ministry of International Trade Diversification and the Ministry of Small Business and Export Promotion, acknowledging that the move is part of an effort to reduce Canada’s trade dependence on our neighbours to the south.

2. Wildfires rage in Sweden after heatwave
It’s not just the B.C. Interior dealing with a spike in wildfires right now, as Sweden is also dealing with a number of fires following a recent heatwave. Forests that have been ravaged by drought are now burning, with dozens of fires being reported throughout the country. France and Italy have both sent firefighters to Sweden to assist.

3. Chance The Rapper drops four new tracks
There was rumours that Chance The Rapper would be dropping a surprise album this week, but he tweeted the other day that it was not true. He did confirm that he was in the studio and he certainly proved that by dropping four new tracks today. Those include “I Might Need Security,” Work Out,” “65th & Ingleside” and “Wala Cam.”

4. The ESPYs paid tribute to fallen coaches from Stoneman Douglas High School
The annual ESPY Awards took place on Wednesday and the award show made a nice tribute to the three coaches who died during the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting earlier this year. Aaron Feis, Scott Beigel and Chris Hixon all posthumously received the Best Coach award. The trio lost their lives protecting kids during the shooting.

5. JAY-Z’s Made In America Festival evicted from Philly park
Made In America Festival, which is put on by JAY-Z, has been evicted from Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. The festival has been held there since 2012, but the mayor of Philadelphia expressed that there was no longer a need for an event of that scale to be held in the park. JAY-Z said he was very disappointed in the mayor’s decision.
