A Williams Lake woman is feeling all kinds of emotions after a massive lottery win this month.
According to the BCLC, Maureen Fulton was "in a daze" after matching all four Extra numbers to win $500,000 during Nov. 18's Lotto 6/49 draw. She purchased the winning ticket from a Save-On-Foods on Oliver Street and was at Handi-Mart when she saw that she won.
"I think I won $500,000,” said Fulton. “Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that it said I had won something. I scanned it again and was in such a daze, I can’t remember what crossed my mind at that moment.”
Fulton immediately shared the news with her sister and brother, who were both in disbelief. She mentioned the win still didn't "feel real yet."
The long-time lottery player plans to share her winnings with her family and purchase a new car.
With the latest win, the BCLC has now redeemed more than $28 million in prizes.
