Gold (tie) – Cedar Hill Golf Course

1400 Derby Rd, Victoria BC

<who>Photo credit: City of Saanich</who>This city-owned par-62 track has something for everyone. At just under 5,200 yards at the longest, it provides a perfect low-stress course for beginners to learn the ins and outs of the game, while also featuring a number of challenging holes for the more experienced linksman.

The course has long been a staple of the Victoria golf community, opening its doors over 100 years ago in 2021.

Its close proximity to the inner city – lying a short ten minute drive to downtown Victoria – and its value – costing around $50/ round – make it the perfect place to perfect your game this summer.

Gold (tie) – Highland Pacific Golf

450 Creed Rd, Victoria BC

<who>Photo credit: Highland Pacific Golf</who>Nestled in the hills bordering Thetis Regional Park north of View Royal, Highland Pacific Golf presents some of the nicest views and picture-esque holes of any course in the lower-Island region.

Dubbed “Victoria’s friendliest place to play”, the property features two challenging nine-hole courses, totalling just over 6,600 yards combined from the longest tees and a par of 72.

It's a course that stays in great condition year-round and presents a great value for the price, costing around $50-$90/ round for 18 holes.

A must-play for any golf enthusiast looking to swing into action this summer.

Silver – Cordova Bay Golf Course

The Bay Course is the longer of the two tracks, a par-72 that measures a shade over 6,500 yards. Meanwhile the Ridge Course is a short-but-challenging nine-hole par-36 track that presents a perfect place to hone your short game.

The course also is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including 75 species of birds that you can spot while making your way up the fairways.
